Hello! I'm Priya Hasan
PhD Astronomy
Growing up in Mumbai, Priya went to erstwhile USSR to pursue her Integrated Masters in Physics at the Moscow State University, Russia. She did her PhD in Astronomy in Osmania University, Hyderabad(2004). She did an Indo-French post-doctoral research project at the Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune, India (2004-2006) and worked as DST-Women Scientist in Osmania University (2006-2009). She taught at the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad (2010-2015) and joined Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad in 2015.

PhD mathematics
Prof S N Hasan is presently at the Department of Mathematics, Maulana Azad National Urdu University.
He has been the Head, Dept of Mathematics (2014-19), Dean, School of Sciences (2016-19), Maulana Azad National Urdu University and Dean, Research and Consultancy (2018-19) at MANUU.
Before joining MANUU he was Head Dept. of Astronomy, Osmania University, Hyderabad and Director Japal-Rangapur Observatories.
He completed his MSc and M Phil at the University of Hyderabad and
PhD at the Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia.
He was recipient of National Merit Scholarship, University Merit Scholarship for his Master’s program &
Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India scholarship for Doctoral Studies.
His research interests are Celestial Mechanics and Dynamical Astronomy. He has published his research in national and international journals and has more than 25 years of teaching experience.
He has travelled and delivered lectures in Russian, New Zealand, Europe, & Egypt.
He is actively involved in Olympiads, public outreach and science popularization programs for children and adults.
